a tree slow to sway, firm to the promise of each new day

Good afternoon!
I am writing this from my wonderful home town Bournemouth, where I am enjoying some quality rest and processing time. After the intensity of DTS, and India it is nice to be in a small quiet house, drinking tea. Busy too catching up with friends, leadership and missions care praying through next steps. For those of you who have been mainly following my blogs rather than e-mails, I have gotten back a few weeks ago from a mind blowing 10 week trip to India, and spent the couple of weeks following debriefing with the students and with staff.
Thoroughly enjoying taking some quality time to reflect and process all that the Lord has been doing over these past six months. I think what I am most thankful for is His grace, His grace in my inexperience, His grace in what I am working through personally, His grace in allowing me to work on the school, His grace in my shortcomings and brittle plans and through yet more grace He has had His way.
As I sit and process, and as the future plays hide and seek. I remain confident, I have found each time I have visited home after a season in YWAM that the cement laid sets harder, and foundations progress. I have the Lord to give all the thanks for. Providing a fantastic sending church.. and a solid network of prayer support and accountability here in Bournemouth- simply priceless people, all over the world.
Along with lots of processing, I have been chewing over what He has been saying, highlighting and growing in me, my strengths and weaknesses(thorns to pull), passions He has moulded. I'm spending some good time on this, working out my personal values, goals and God dreams, in order that I may press forward armed with the testimony of all He has taught, spoken, and promised. Working on a vision.

Lots in the mix right now.. India, DTS, transition, giftings/focus, training and next steps, establishment.

Boasting in the Lord, and of His faithfulness, for ever.

All my thanks for reading. I'll be sure to keep you posted, every blessing.
look out for update e-mails, tweets and a newsletter at some point!
Cheers

Adam
